Are you looking for a pastel coloured authentic Dala horse? Then you have come to the right place! You can buy the original here in our web-shop.
This pastel colored Dalarna horse is (like the other Dala horses in our shop) a genuine Dala horse from Nusnäs and has a authenticity label from Granna's factory. These Dala horses have been made there by hand since 1922.
The pattern on a pastel coloured Dala horse
Just like this pastel coloured Dala horse, each Dala horse is painted by hand with great care. The pattern is almost always the same, but the colors in the pattern painted on top of the pastel coloured base vary, which makes each Dala horse unique.
Dalarna horses in different colors
In this web-shop you can find Dala horses in many different colors . Are you looking for a Dala horse in a different color? Purple, orange or maybe green? We are happy to help you find what you are looking for, so please feel free Paars, oranje of misschien wel groen? Geef gerust to contact us. For large quantities, it is even possible to specify a specific color code for the Dala horse's color.
The size of Dala horses
The size specified for a Dala horse is defined by its height. This is measured from the lower edge of the front legs to the ears of the Dala horse. The length (from nose to backside) and width (over the back) change in proportion to the height. For example, a 5 cm high horse is 1.5 cm wide and 5 cm long, while a Dala horse of 20 cm is 5 cm wide and 18 cm long.

I was watching rail away (television program). The country was Sweden and there they talked about the Dala horse and the way in which they are made. Because I am a huge animal lover and have always loved horses and I liked the horses so much, I looked them up on the Internet and there I found this side of Katrien (Touch of Sweden). I ordered them and so nice how they are packed with a lot of care also the handwritten card with it gives a good feeling. I am very happy with it and they are in a very nice place in the house. I have not regretted it.

As a decoration for the home I was looking for a Dalahäst with pink details, by searching I ended up at the Katrien webshop. My questions via email were answered within a short time and the delivery went smoothly. What a beautifully packaged horse arrived! And a nice handwritten card, really a gift to unwrap!

We have ordered three of these beautiful horses in the webshop and they fully met our expectations! I only knew them from Sweden in blue and red, after searching the internet we came to the swedish gift shop. The white pastel are super nice in our daughter's baby room! They have been inspiration for the birth announcement card and everyone is completely curious and enthusiastic about the horses!
The delivery was smooth and neat with a nice personal message from Katrien! We can recommend everyone to buy a unique item on this website.

As a child I got a red Dala horse. I've played a lot with it.
My niece is about to give birth to a girl. Then she gets a Dala horse from me or a Swedish Dalahast, symbol of Landscape Dalarna in Sweden.
I like to give it because it is a unique horse made entirely by hand and painted.
That this webshop sells them is very unique. They sell them in various colors and sizes and you look further on their site ... I found an ocher Holmestad horse, a rare "brother" of the Dala horse. A unique website !!
