Pettson and Findus are two characters created by Swedish author and illustrator Sven Nordqvist. Pettson, an old man, lives with his funny, talking cat Findus in a little red house in the Swedish countryside. Together, they go on the craziest adventures.

The books about Pettson and Findus were originally written in Swedish and have been translated into several languages, including Dutch, German, and English. Two of the most well-known books are Pancake Pie and The Fox Hunt.
