Dala horse from Nusnäs

All Dala horses in our online store are original wooden horses from Grannasfabriken in Nusnäs, Sweden, and have an authenticity marking coming from the factory. Dala horses have been manufactured here by hand since 1922. It was Anders Olsson who started the company at the age of 26. A company that is still active today.

Dalarna horses in different colors

The most common colour for dala horses is red. But you can also buy them in the colours blue, white, black, yellow, grey pink or light blue as base.

A small or big dala horse

The size of a dala horse is expressed in cm and is measured from the base of the front hoof to the tip of the dala horse's ear. In this webshop you can buy dalarna horses in the sizes 5 cm, 7 cm, 10 cm, 13 cm, 15 cm, 17 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm or 42 cm. Looking for a larger or smaller size?
